July 2021: 19 people were arrested for taking part in an LGBT party at a rented farm. 14 individuals, including the person who leased the farm, were subsequently released on bail while five people who organised the event were referred to the administrative governor of the area. Same-sex relations were decriminalised in Jordan in 1951.
