Cyprus : MPs denounce police failure to take action against abusive officers

MPs raise concerns over a “boys’ club” in the police force helping abusive officers get away with sexist violence, including rape and sexual harassment. According to the justice ministry, in the past decade, over half of the reports against police officers for domestic violence and violence against women failed to see justice.
