According to Justice for Human Rights, over 3000 Egyptian women have been subjected to arbitrary detention and imprisonment under both civilian and military judgments lacking fair trial standards since July 3rd, 2013. These include over 300 women and girls currently under arbitrary detention and 35 sentence to imprisonment.
