On 27 July, the New Arab reported that the former Prime Minister of Morocco, Saad Eddin El Othami, tweeted about the prevalence of Monkeypox among gay men, commenting that ‘the lesson learned is that deviating from nature is a danger to man, his health, his life, and even his existence.’
