On 18 August, Israeli forces raided and closed seven Palestinian organisations, including the Union of Palestinian Women’s Committees (UPWC), in a continuation of the crackdown against Palestinian civil society. UPWC was among the six Palestinian CSOs designated as ‘terrorist organisations’ in October 2021.
