Journalist faces online violence by Neo-Nazis

Julie Hainaut was faced with harassment and death threats after publishing an article on an encounter she had at a bar in Lyon with someone referring to the history of colonisation as “a nice period.” The Neonazi website Participatory Democracy (Démocratie participative) published an article that directly expressed hate-speech towards the journalist, resulting in a wave of online harassment.
