An Instagram account under the name of "hydra21" posted a death list of twenty-two Moroccan women's rights and LGBTIQ+ activists for promoting "anti-Islam beliefs" and "trying to destroy the values of Moroccan society". The account sent private messages to several of the targeted activists, warning of repercussions against their families and work places. The cyberattack followed the government’s submission of the first draft of a revised family code.
