On November 10th, the Partido Popular presented two reform bills to the Assembly. One of them repeals the reversal of the burden of proof (which forces the individual accused of discrimination against trans people to prove their innocence) and the right to recognition of freely expressed gender identity. In addition, the recognition of trans people in educational centres and the administration will be diluted, and the specific sanctioning code for infractions that violate the rights of trans and intersex people will be eliminated.
