6 April 2021: Police officers arrested female teacher Nezha Majdi along with other teachers who were taking part in a peaceful protest. She was reportedly treated violently and a female police officer removed her clothes twice. Majdi was charged with insulting a public official, in light of her claims that she had been subjected to sexual assault and threatened with rape by a police officer during a demonstration on 17 March, according to Amnesty International.
