30 September 2021: A resolution by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) aiming to enshrine respect for minority, LGBTQI and women’s rights by the Taliban as a condition for member state engagement with Afghanistan was opposed by Turkey, according to Nordic Monitor.
