Far-right public and politicians are using the murder of a 12-years old girl, Lola, -against the parents’ will- to gather support for their anti-immigration, xenophobic and racist causes. Protestors use the fact that the perpetrator was an Algerian immigrant with an expired Visa to ask attention for slogans such as “White lives matter”, while using the victim’s name and photos. The murder is called "Francocide" by far-right politician Eric Zemmour, who states that the victim was targeted due to her being French. Also, the popular right-wing politician Marine Le Pen has connected the tragedy to France’s immigration policy.
