Female Tiktok influencer’s 6-year prison sentence upheld

On 11 February, the Cassation Court upheld the ruling against content creator Mawada al-Adham of six years in prison on charges of ‘human trafficking.’ The authorities first arrested her in 2020 as part of an arrest campaign targeting female content creators in the name of ‘family values.’
