Pro Life movements seek to hinder right to abortion

Pro-life movements have announced a campaign to collect signatures to include in Law 194 an obligation for the doctor to make pregnant women intend to have an abortion listen to the heartbeat of the foetus. This psychologically violent measure is already occurring in many health structures in the country, according to feminist activists.
