WHRD and lawyer Jiyan Tosun was falsely accused of being behind the bombing in Istanbul on 13 November by the member of a far-right party. She and her family members subsequently received a high number of death threats. Jiyan Tosun is a member of Human Rights Association and offers legal support to women and LGBTQI individuals.
